Together in Song (Harmonized)
A wonderful piece for young choirs, virtual choirs, or choirs just looking to sing together. The lyrics were written at the end of March, 2020, soon after the COVID-19 pandemic began. The music was written in January 2021 as choirs began to be able to perform together again.
This piece is built to be flexible in performance. This piece is available for Unison choir or 3-part choir. The unison version may be performed along with the 3-part version or by itself. The 3-part version could be performed by an SSA, TTB, or SATB choir. If singing SATB, I suggest that the Sopranos and Tenors sing Part I while the Altos and Basses sing Parts II/III with the Basses taking the bottom note on splits. By singing just Part I and II (no splits), this piece could be successfully performed by a a two-part choir.
