This is a new take on a beloved hymn. I retooled the lyrics in a new meter and with a new melody. The depth of the text is amplified by the simple, folk-like melody.
It is written to be sung a cappella, but could be done with piano doubling the parts. For SATB choir with some divisi. I have successfully directed this with two different stake choirs as well as the Ensign Symphony & Chorus in Seattle, WA.
